Verifying a printed letter

Anyone holding a printed or forwarded LORVeda letter can confirm it is genuine.

  1. Find the verification ID at the bottom of the letter (e.g. LOR-ABCD-EFGH-JKMN), or scan the QR code.
  2. Enter it on the Verify page.

You will see whether the letter is authentic and currently valid, or superseded by a corrected letter, with the student's name, programme, issuing college, addressed university, issue date and a text fingerprint. For privacy the full letter is shown only to the addressed university through its secure link.
